Ulthera, Merz Finalize Acquisition Deal

, which makes aesthetic medicine medical devices for face and neck lifts, is now part of
Merz
, after regulatory approvals by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice, the companies said Tuesday. The deal--which is worth up to $600M--was announced on June 27th. Ulthera was venture backed by New Enterprise Associates, Apposite Healthcare, and others.
