Ulthera has been acquired by German pharmaceuticals firm
Merz, in a deal worth $600M, the company said Thursday. Ulthera, which has 170 employees in Mesa, will continue to have operations in Arizona after the deal. Ulthera was venture backed by New enterprise Associates, Apposite Healthcare, and others. Ulthera had recently
filed for an IPO on the NASDAQ Global Market.
