RightNow Acquired by Oracle For $1.5 Billion

, the developer of customer relationship management and support software, has been acquired by database giant
Oracle
, the firms said today, in a deal worth $1.5 billion. Oracle said it would acquire RightNow Software to offer a full range of cloud-based software. Oracle is paying $43.00 per share for RightNow, which is a direct competitor to Salesforce.com.
