RightNow Founder Gives $200,000 To Bolster Computer Science Efforts

, has pledged to donate $200,000 over three years to bolster the number of students in computer science at
Montana State University
. According to MSU, the funding will go towards three programs to recruit students into computer science, to help meet the demand for high tech workers in the state. The funding will go towards the MSU Computer Science Department. Gianforte founded RightNow, and took it to an IPO and eventually
an acquisition by Oracle
for $1.5 billion.
