The shareholders of Bozeman, Montana-based
RightNow have approved that firm's $1.5 billion merger with
Oracle, the firm said Friday. Oracle said in October that it would pay $43 per share in cash for RightNow, which developer customer relationship management software. RightNow, which is headed by Greg Gianforte, said that approximately 99.8 percent of the shares voted in its Special Meeting of Stockholders voted in favor of the deal, representing around 87 percent of its total outstanding shares. The firms said the merger still remains subject to regulatory approval and a number of other conditions.
