Gogo Wi-Fi Free To Alaska Air Smartphone Users

is making the in-flight wireless services--provided by
Gogo
, the consumer brand of Aircell--free to smartphone users in August and September, Alaska Airlines, the airline said today. Aircell--which has operations in Broomfield, Colorado--provides in-flight wireless to both airlines and business aircraft users. According to Alaska Airlines, passengers using smartphones and iPod touch devices will get free access to Gogo through August and September as part of a deal with Visa Signature. Users who also rent Alaska's in-flight entertainment systems will also get free wireless access for those months.
