ON Semiconductor Sees Limited Damage In Japan
Phoenix, Arizona-based semiconductor maker ON Semiconductor reports that its many operations in Japan saw limited damage. The firm, which has over 6,000 employees in Japan, said that there have been no on-site injuries of its employees in Japan due to the earthquake or tsunami. The firm has four facilities in Japan, all of which are in the south of Japan, away from the epicenter of the quake. The firm reports limited damage at three of the facilities, plus power loss at one of the factories.
