SafetyWeb, the online service for tracking the actions of kids online, said today that it has launched a new service aimed at helping to find missing children. According to the company, it has released SWOT, the SafetyWeb Onlnie Tracking Tool, to help nationwide law enforcement agencies to locate missing children. The firm said the service will be made free to any qualifying agency. SafetyWeb, which is venture backed by Battery Ventures, was founded by Geoffrey Arone and Michael Clark. Arone was the co-founder of Flock and DanceJam, and Clark was one of the execs at Photobucket. The firm also counds former MySpace privacy officer Hemanshu Nigam as an advisor.
