Denver-based SafetyWeb, a provider of Internet safety services for parents, said Tuesday that it has acquired online security firm Odojo. Financail terms of the buy were not disclosed. Odojo develops technology which helps parents to monitor their children's social networking activities. Odojo founder Mike Stemple joins SafetyWeb as part of the acquisition; Stemple has previously also been involved in Skinit. SafetyWeb is backed by Battery Ventures and First Round Capital, and was founded by Michael Clark (Photobucket) and Geoffrey Arone (Flock). Odojo was based in Golden, Colorado.
