Orem, Utah-based Omniture said Wednesday that it has relaunched Mercado Ignition, its recently acquired software for managing online merchandising, as Omniture Merchandising. Mercado Ignition was acquired by Omniture in October as part of its $6.5M buy of Mercado. The software is being used by online merchandising managers to manage online merchandising efforts, adding such features as product reviews, creating landing pages, and otherwise help attract customers. Omniture did not released pricing details on the relaunched product.
