Omniture Boosts M&A Efforts, Snags VP From Interwoven
Orem, Utah-based Omniture, a developer of web analytics software, said Tuesday that it has hired on a new Vice President of Corporate Development. The firm said it has appointed Brian Andersen to the position, where he will be responsible for mergers and acquisition activities. Andersen was most recently VP of Corporate Development at Interwoven, where Omniture said he led Interwoven's $775M sale to Autonomy; he has also served at Phoenix Technologies and investment bank Robertson Stephens. Omniture has been fairly active in the last few years with acquistions, having acquired Instadia, TouchClarity, Visual Sciences, Offermatica and Mercado in the past three years.
