Novell said today that it has seen what it calls "tremendous" reception to its release of SUSE Linux Enterprise 10, reporting that it has had over 165,000 downloads of its SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 products. SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 is the firm's latest release of its open source Linux distribution. Novell said that approximately 286,000 unique visitors to its web site have registered to try out Novell's new tools for subscription and software updates. Novell rolled out SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 two weeks ago, adding Xen virtualization, new application security features, and a new pricing scheme.
