Merit Medical Completes Acquisition

South Jordan-based Merit Medical Systems, a manufacturer and marketer of disposable medical products for the cardiology, radiology and endoscopy markets, said Thursday that it has completed its acquisition of Thomas Medical Products, Inc.. The deal was worth approximately $167M in cash. Thomas Medical was previously owned by GE Healthcare. Merit Medical said that Thomas Medical Products becomes Merit Medical Systems, Inc., Malvern Division.
