Orbotix Updates SDKs

Boulder-based Orbotix, the company behind the Sphero robotic ball, said Tuesday that it has released an update to its software development kit for the device. The company said it has updated both the iOS and Android SDK for Sphero, adding a number of developer resources and bug fixes to the software. The updates include easier ways to calibrate the device, a new sample to demostrate how to move and rotate an image on a device's screen using the Sphero, and more. Orbotix has been very active in promoting third party applications for its Sphero, with a full API and software development resources.
