Orbotix Rolls Out New Apps, Updates Sphero Software

Boulder-based robotic ball developer Orbotix said this morning that it has rolled out six new games for its Sphero robotic ball, along with updating the device's firmware. Orbotix said it has launched two mult-player apps--TAG and ColorGrab, its first multi-player apps for the device; along with space arcade game Sphero Exile, third party app Doodle Grub, and updated its Sphero Drive, Sphero, SpheroCam into a single app called Sphero v2, along with a revision of its Sphero Golf game. Sphero is a robotic ball which can be controlled via a smartphone app; the device is sold online, in Brookstone stores, as well as the Apple Store.
