Lyft Pulls Scooters From Phoenix
Lyft is cutting pulling its on-demand scooter service in Phoenix, according to a note to employees, in a shift for the company's approach to tackling the "last mile" mobility market. Lyft, which has been fighting with Uber, Lime, Bird, and others in a nationwide market share battle, said in the report that is shifting its resources from smaller markets toward bigger opportunities. The on-demand scooter market has recently been in flux, as the high costs of operating those scooters has collided with the short lifetime of scooters.
