Mozy Sold To Carbonite
Online data protection and backup service Mozy, which was started in Utah in 2005 and still has offices in Draper, has been sold to data protection service Carbonite, in a deal worth $145.8M in cash. Mozy--which was owned by Dell Technologies--will go towards boosting Carbonite's customer base. Dell acquired Mozy in 2007. Carbonite did not say what it plans to do with Mozy's Draper offices.
