Colorado is about to get its first-ever,
Amazon.com warehouse--or, as the company calls them, "fulfillment centers"--in Aurora. According to Amazon, its first fulfillment center in Colorado will create 1,000 full-time jobs, with those workers picking, packing, and shipping "large sized" customer orders. Those large items include sports equipment, musical instruments, and furniture. Amazon said the new center will be in addition to a "sortation center" which is already located in Aurora, and employs hundreds.
