Open Angel Forum Heads To Colorado
The
Open Angel Forum
, a new angel investment group started by Internet celebrity
Jason Calacanis
, is expanding into Colorado in an effort headed by TechStars
David Cohen
. According to Cohen, one of the founders of the TechStars business incubator, he is heading up a new, Colorado arm of Calacanis' Open Angel Forum. The forum was created by Calacanis as a response to many, "pay-to-pitch" angel groups which require entrepreneurs to pay to pitch their investment opportunity. Cohen said in
a blog post
that the Colorado event will be held on February 3rd, and will offer 5 companies a chance to pitch to 10-15 angel investors.
