StormWind Finds $5M For Online Training, Learning
Phoenix-based StormWind, an online learning and education company focused on technical and IT certification training, said today that it has raised $5M in a Series C funding. The funding was led by GSV Capital Corp. According to StormWind, the new funding will go towards growth and hiring, as it looks to hire an additional 200 employees over the next two years. StormWind's online learning site offers up high definition courses on everything from Cisco equipment, to Microsoft, to VMware and other IT technology; the company said it is using a "Hollywood-style" approach to its learning courses to make the more engaging.
