Scottsdale, Arizona-based Hot Stix Golf said this morning that Hot Stix Golf, Mobile & Technologies, three related Arizona companies, had received $6M in private equity from StormWind Ventures. Hot Stix operates custom golf fitting software and services for golf retailers. The firm said that StormWind is the investment arm of Tom Graunke, founder of e-learning firm KnowledgeNet, and Tim and Eric Crown, founders of computer and electronics distributor Insight Electronics. Graunke has also been appointed chairman of the three companies.
