Funium Finds $1.8M For Family History Fun On Facebook
Provo, Utah-based Funium, which develops social games on Facebook focused on family trees, said today that it has raised $1.8M in a seed funding round. The round came from Jim Sorenson's Family Odyssey, along with other angel investors. Sorenson is the son of molecular genetics entrepreneur James LeVoy Sorenson. Funium develops Family Village, a Facebook games which helps players build their family trees via an online, virtual community. The company is led by Jeff Wells.
