First Solar Sells Spanish Solar Power Plant
Tempe, Arizona-based First Solar, the manufacturer of thin film solar power panels, said over the weekend that it has sold a 10MW solar power plant near Zamora, Spain. The firm said it sold the 9.9 megawatt solar power plant to the European Solar Power Fund, a renewable energy focused investors. Financial details of the sale were not disclosed. First Solar is supplying 122,000 of its thin-film solar modules for the solar power plant.
