First Solar Sells California Project
Tempe, Arizona-based solar power developer First Solar said today that it is selling a 21 megawatt, solar energy project it has developed in Blythe, California, to NRG Energy. Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed. First Solar began construction of the plant, for Southern California Edison, in September. First Solar has another 1300 megawatts of PV solar power projects contracted in California and the rest of the Southwest.
