Mozy Drops Unlimited Plans
Data backup service Mozy, which is now owned by EMC, but still has operations in Utah, is dropping its unlimited backup storage plans. According to Mozy, it is switching to a new plan which allows up to 50GB of storage for $5.99 per month, or 125GB of storage for $9.99 a month. Additional storage is $2 per month additional for each additional, 20GB storage block. The changes are a drastic switch from the firm's original, unlimited vision. EMC acquired Mozy in 2007.
