Level 3 Communications announced Thursday that it is expanding its operations in Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, and Tucson. The firm said it will be growing and realigning its local workforce in the Southwest in those locations, to provide increased local preseence for the firm. Exact number of employees affected by the move was not disclosed, however, the firm said it will be adding capacity to its network in the region to better serve mid-market enterprises with bandwidth.
