Boulder Tops List of Startup Cities
Boulder, Colorado, has been named the top startup city in a list released last week by Businessweek. According to the article, the Colorado city topped its list of Top 10 cities for startups, mostly because of a "bottom-up revolution" from entrepreneurs in the city. The article specifically named the efforts of Brad Feld and David Cohen in creating TechStars, the Boulder mentoring and seed funding effort, which has attracted a significant number of Internet companies to town.
