Sorrento Wins Midwest Telecom Provider
Denver-based Sorrento Networks, a developer of metro optical networking hardware, said today that it has been selected by Spiralight Network, an optical transport service provider based in the upper Midwest. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Sorrento said that Spiralight is using its GigaMux 6400 product, as part of its services for customers in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Sorrento offers CWDM, DWDM, and ROADM products for the metro optical networking market.
