Denver-based Sorrento Networks, a developer of optical networking equipment, said Tuesday that it has signed on UK-based Azzurri Communications as a partner. According to the firms, Azzurri will use Sorrento's metro optical access products to help out its clients. Financial impact of the partnership was not disclosed. The firms said that Sorrento's equipment is being used by Azzurri clients such as Neos Networks to increase the capacity of their existing fiber networks.
