Sorrento Networks Scores Win In Tennessee
Denver-based Sorrento Networks, the provider of optical networking equipment for the metro market, said today that it is providing its equipment to the Highland Telephone Cooperative, a telecommunications provider based in Sunbright, Tennessee. Sorrento said that the cooperative is using its GigaMux 3200 CWDM product to provide high speed, broadband services to rural Tennessee and Kentucky. Sorrento did nots ay how much the customer win was worth. The installation comes as part of a $66.5M, Broadband Stimulus award to the Highland Telephone Cooperative.
