Sorenson Media Ships Development Kit
Salt Lake City-based Sorenson Media, which develops video encoding software and related video hosting services, said it is looking to help third party developers connect into its video platform today. The company said its new software development kit (SDK) will allow developers to connect their custom media players into Sorenson 360, the firm's newly launched video hosting and delivery network. The SDK is available for free to customers and developers. Sorenson Media has its executive offices in San Diego, California, but its development and bulk of operations in Salt Lake.
