Sorenson Media, which develops video encoding and decoding software, unveiled a new product aimed at the server market today. The firm said its new Sorenson Squeeze Premium is aimed at Windows Server 2008, and includes a number of features specifically designed to automate and support encoding of videos in a server environment. The new title retails at $1,995. Sorenson Media has significant development operations in Salt Lake City.
