Orem, Utah-based Omniture announced Thursday that its acquisition of competing web analytics provider Visual Sciences has completed. The deal, which was worth approximately $394M in stock and cash, was originally announced in October. According to Omniture, the deal boosts its employee count to more than 1,000. Omniture said it will begin immediately on its plan to integrate the two companies' products, customers, and employees. Omniture said that as a result of the acquisition, it will bring together all of its Omniture's Bay Area employees into its San Francisco office; Visual Sciences' San Diego, California and Herndon, Virginia offices will remain where they are.
