Adobe Systems said Tuesday afternoon that it is further bolstering its Online Marketing Suite, powered by Omniture, with the acquisition of data management software firm Demdex. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Demdex helps provide anonymous audience data to allow web publishers and advertisers to better target their online advertising. Adobe specifically said it would add Demdex's technology to its Online Marketing Suite. Adobe's Online Marketing Suite was formerly Omniture SiteCatalyst, and was renamed in July of 2010. Adobe acquired Omniture in 2009, and continues to have major operations in Orem, Utah.
