Southwest Windpower said today that the firm has raised another $10M for the firm's small wind turbine technology. The firm said the funding came from GE, along with Altira, Rockport Capital Partners, NGP Energy Technology Partners, and CTTV Investments, all existing investors in the firm. Southwest Windpower design small wind turbines that produce up to 3kW. The firm said the funding will go to develop new markets, and grow sales offices in Europe and Asia, along with product line expansion.
