Phoenix-based electronic payment software publisher Hypercom Corp. reported Monday that it has promoted Robert M. Vreeland as interim chief financial officer. Vreeland, who has worked for Hypercom for the past 11 years, will report to Philippe Tartavull, Hypercom's chief executive officer and president. Vreeland succeeds Tom Liguori, who has accepted a position with another company. Since December 2005, Vreeland has served as vice president of Hypercom's Americas Finance and Corporate FP&A business unit. His other past roles with the company include vice president of operations, vice president of corporate controller, and director of finance and administration for Hyperion International. Hypercom did not specify if or when Vreeland's interim tag would be removed or if the company is searching for another individual to fill the position permanently.
