The U.S. payment systems business of Scottsdale, Arizona-based
Hypercom has been sold to
Ingenico S.A, according to
VeriFone Systems. VeriFone, which recently acquired HyperCom, said it will receive $54M in cash for Hypercom's payments business, which it says generated approximately $61M in revenues in 2010. VeriFone continues to own Hypercom's non-payment terminal Networking products operations in the U.S. VeriFone announced its $485M acquisition of HyperCom in November.
