American Fork, Utah-based Move networks, a provider of high definition television streaming technology, said today that the firm has entered into a strategic relationship with Microsoft. According to Move, it will enable high quality video streaming within Microsoft's Silverlight rich media plug-in. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Move, Microsoft's cross-browser plug-in for rich media applications, Silverlight, will soon support Move Networks' video streaming technology. The firm did not say when the support will be available. Move Networks provides teh technology behind high definition streaming from ABC, the CW, Discovery, ESPN, and Fox.
