Move Networks Inks HD Streaming Deal With PermissionTV
American Fork, Utah-based Move Networks, a developer of software being used to stream HD quality video over the Internet, and Massachusetts-based PermissionTV, said today that the two are in a strategic reseller and integration partnership. According to the firm, they will offer an intergated platform for creation and deployment of rich, interactive HD-quality video applications. The two have tied together with two initial customers. Fox On demand and the Metropolitan Opera. PermissionTV's software is being used to create online videos, using Move's streaming technology for supporting HD video. The move is the first HD move for PermissionTV, whose software is used to facilitate uploading of videos to Internet sites.
