American Fork-based Move Networks, a provider of Internet streaming technology, said Monday that the firm has signed on Televisa, which the company describes as the largest provider of Spanish language television in the world. According to Move, Televisa will use the firm's technology to deliver both live and on-demand sports and entertainment programming on its web sites. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. According to Move, the firm worked with Internet agency Schematic, and Microsoft Sliverlight on Televisa's Internet efforts. Move Networks provides technology used to stream Internet video; the firm is venture backed by Microsoft, Benchmark Capital, Cisco Corp, Comcast Interactive Capital, Steamboat Ventures, and Hummer Winblad Venture Partners.
