Jabber Releases New IM Client Software
Denver, Colorado-based Jabber Inc. said earlier this week that it has released an upgraded instant messaging client that is compatible with AOL Instant Messenger. The firm said that its Jabber MomentIM software allows users to connect to AOL Instant MEssenger, Google Talk, and other instant messaging services. Jabber MomentIM 5.2.1 also adds an file transfer plug-in, which allows uers to post files through instant messaging services; Microsoft Vista supports; and X.509 certificate authentication for user logins. Jabber, Inc. is a developer of software used for instant messaging and presence.
