Boulder, Colorado-based LeftHand Networks, a provider of clustered storage products, said today that it has rolled out a product for the popular VMware virtualization software. LeftHand said that its LeftHand Networks Virtual SAN Appliance (VSA) is designed for VMware ESX Server, a software application that allows IT administrators to run multiple PC operating system images on a single piece of hardware. LeftHand said that its product will provide a fault-tolerant SAN for the VMware environment. LeftHand Networks is a provider of iSCSI-based storage products. The firm said that the product will be in production release in November.
