LeftHand Adds VMware Certification
Boulder, Colorado-based LeftHand Networks announced yesterday that the firm's products have been certified with the popular VMware ESX Server virtualization product. The firm's iSCSI product, SAN/iQ, has been added to VMware's Storage and SAN Compatibility Guide, which is used by VMware's customers to create and maintain equipment and software configuration for storage. VMware's server virtualization products are popular with IT managers, who use virtualization to reduce the need for physical servers. LeftHand's clustered iSCSI software lets customer create their own iSCSI based storage servers.
