Centennial, Colorado-based Verio Inc., an Internet service and business solutions provider, reported Monday that it has achieved "Advanced Partner" status in Red Hat's Hosting Program. Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a popular Linux distribution. Verio said the Red Hat Hosting Program was created to help hosting companies grow in the open-source and Linux markets. Verio said that the new certification allows Verio to offer its Linux-based customers with competitive products and pricing, including its virtual private server and managed private server Web-hosting solutions.
