Centennial, Colorado-based Verio has launched its Windows shared hosting capabilities in Japan, the firm said this morning. Verio said that it will provide the services through NTT Communications, its parent company. NTT will offer a new Open computer Network (OCN) shared hosting service for Windows, based on the Microsoft Windows platform. The new OCN services will be offered to small and medium sized enterprises in Japan. The new Japanese offering is based on Verio's services in the United States. Verio offers multiple domain hosting for web sites on Windows machines, with support for .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and other Windows tools.
