MasterControl Acquires AMG IT Systems
MasterControl Inc., a developer of document management software for life sciences companies, reported Tuesday that it has agreed to purchase AMG IT Systems Ltd., a provider of quality assurance software for the pharmaceutical industry. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. MasterControl said AMG IT's QAAD brand of configurable quality assurance software will complement MasterControl's current offerings and target markets. Founded in 1997, AMG IT Systems is headquartered in Reading, England. MasterControl's corporate headquarters are located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
