American Fork-based Berkeley Data Systems, the operator of the Mozy online backup and storage service, has opened its doors for its programming contest, according to an email to participants from Josh Coates, the firm's founder and CEO. Mozy, which is using the competition to find employees, is awarding $10,000 to the Utah programmer who wins its programming contest, which pits programmers against a timed set of computer science questions. The timed competition runs tomorrow. Berkeley Data Systems is backed by Wasatch Venture Fund.
