Mozy Powers Cox Online Backup
Online backup service Mozy, which is now a part of Decho Corporation/EMC, reported Thursday that it is powering a new online business backup services from Cox Business. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Mozy said it is powering Cox's new Business Online Backup service, which services nearly 250,000 small and regional businesses. Mozy said its partners now include China Telecom, McAfee, and Vodafone, who are all offering their own Mozy powered online backup offerings. Mozy was developed in Utah, where Decho/EMC continues to maintain a development and operations center in Pleasant Grove.
