Longmont, Colorado-based Intrado and Irvine, California-based Networks In Motion announced today that the two companies have entered into a strategic alliance to jointly market location-based services. The companies will integrate Network in Motion's applications with Intrado's software to provide location-relevant content to mobile users. The applications include voice-promted turn-by-turn navigation, mobile workforce management, and a tool that allows parents to track and locate their children. Intrado provides 9-1-1 and other wireless data services and notification services.
