Intrado Gets Standards Stamp
Longmont, Colorado-based Intrado announced today that its approach to IP-based 9-1-1 services is now available thro6ugh the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) Emergency Services Interconnection Forum, for trial use as a standard. The standard, which defines how IP-based information will be delivered to 9-1-1 networks, is being released under ATIS-PP-0500006.200X. Intrado is a provider of 9-1-1 emergency call handling equipment.
